This route focuses on accommodations, sometimes called the “High Society Valley” because the lodgings here are expensive, with great views, fresh air, and close proximity to Chiang Mai.
The Samoeng route features beautiful viewpoints overlooking lush green Samoeng forests and complex mountain ranges. This route is ideal for a scenic drive, stopping at Samoeng district to explore the town, see old houses, and stroll through the market before heading to a viewpoint. You can also find a place to stay overnight to fully enjoy the fresh air of Samoeng forest before continuing your travels elsewhere without needing to stay in Chiang Mai city since it’s very close.
