The waterfall cascades over more than 30 rock layers. In some parts of the cliff, there are rock ledges where visitors can shelter from the mist created by the falling water, resembling a clean white curtain of fog. Experience another form of natural beauty. To visit Mae Ya Waterfall, tourists must pay an entrance fee of 20 baht for adults and 10 baht for children at the fee collection point, then walk about 500 meters on foot. Visitors can camp overnight at Mae Ya Waterfall.
However, you must contact the park officials to reserve a camping spot. Mae Ya Waterfall is located in Chom Thong District, 70 kilometers from Chiang Mai city along Highway 108 (Chiang Mai-Hod route). At about kilometer 58, turn right onto Highway 1009 (Chom Thong - Doi Inthanon route), then turn left and follow the narrow village road for about 14 kilometers. The access road is steep, narrow, and rough.
Only private cars and motorcycles can access the area, and caution is required. Facilities include food stalls and shops. There are two parking areas with crushed stone surfaces, accommodating about 50 cars.
