I don't usually recommend any particular one, but today I can't resist recommending a guesthouse located right in the tourist area, perfect for coffee, daytime and nighttime activities, warm-ups — that is Nimmanhaemin area. The guesthouse is called 'Baan Sela Guesthouse'. The price is 500 baht per night with an excellent location.
Ideal for those without a private car, this is the place to stay. The guesthouse is a three-story old-style house with beautiful bedrooms, shaded by trees. There is a kitchen for guests and laundry facilities, all typical of a guesthouse. The beds are comfortable, and you can wake up and walk to have coffee at Wawee Nimman. At night, the area becomes a lively tourist spot with plenty of food options. Baan Sela Guesthouse is therefore perfect for those who want to explore the city. Usually, many foreigners stay here, but I have seen that they also welcome Thai guests.
